Girl Powder Recipe

This mix of nuts and seeds is the ultimate mix of phyto-oestrogens, omega 3's, and natural vitamins every woman needs. Hence why we call it 'Girl Powder'.

This mix has: Omega 3's, Vitamin E, Vitamin B, Fibre, Zinc, Selenium and Phyto-oestrogens.

All of these fancy ingredients, help our body regulate all of our hormones naturally. From puberty through to menopause. We like to whip up a big bag of the powder so we can easily add it to smoothies, hummus for a delicious dip or on top of some yummy yoghurt. Whatever tickles your fancy.

Ingredients:

  • 100g Chia Seeds (High in Omega 3's: Anti-inflammatory, Anti-oxidant, may improve breast, heart and bone health. Also shown to steady and calm anxiety & depression)
  • 200g Flaxseeds (High in Omega 3's, Vitamin E and Phyto-oestrogens: linked to decrease Alzheimers risk, Hot Flashes, helps to balance oestrogen and a good source of fats.)
  • 150g Brazil Nuts (High in Selenium, Vitamin B's and Vitamin E: helps to steady brain energy, support thyroid and restore action of oestrogen)
  • 150g Almonds (Omega 3's, Good fats, Vitamin E: Anti-inflammatory, restore oestrogen)
  • 100g Sunflower Seeds (B- Vitamins and Vitamin E: Energy and restoring oestrogen)
  • 100g Sesame Seeds (Selenium, Zinc, Vit E: helps with oestrogen balance and Thyroid function)
  • 80g Pistachios (Good fats, B Vitamins: Helps stabilise moods and brain energy)

Method:

Place all ingredients into a blender and mix until a fine powder. Store in airtight container. Mix lasts approximately 3 weeks.

Great to incorporate a couple of dessert spoons into at least one meal, daily.
