Where do I buy the supplements you recommended?

You will find your tailored supplement recommendations on your practitioner hair test report (page 3). This was sent to you prior to your review appointment. After your practitioner has spoken with you, they would have mentioned any changes to this as needed given your specific circumstances.

If there any other additional supplements they recommended, they will send the links through in a separate email, if not already sent on your live call. (femalefundamentals.shop). They are posted from our Sydney warehouse, usually within a few business days. Check the product page for how many capsules are in each bottle so you order enough for the month.

I started the supplements and I feel weird/off, is that normal?

This can be a normal part of the adaptation process.

What to do if you’re noticing mild digestion, sleep, skin etc changes:

1. Change all doses that are ‘2’ to ‘1’.

2. ‘Sandwich’ the supplement. ie. Have some of your meal, then have your supplements, then have the rest of your supplements.

3. If the symptoms persist, stop all supplements, then reintroduce each supplement one at a time. Choose one, have it by itself for 3 days, then after 3 days, add the next supplement and keep going with that pattern.

4. Remain hydrated throughout the day. Aiming for 3L of water unless recommended otherwise by your practitioner.

If you have a specific question, you can book a 15 minute check-in appointment to speak with your practitioner and have your question answered.

What to do if you’re noticing severe changes:

1. Stop all supplements immediately.

2. If symptoms don’t disappear, it is most likely coming from another cause. Book an appointment to speak with your practitioner, or if highly concerning speak with your GP/medical support.

3. If mild symptoms stop after ceasing supplements, your body most likely needs to reintroduce them slower. Start with one supplement at a time and add in a new one every 3 days.

If having trouble breathing, swelling of the face or throat, a spreading rash, chest pain or fainting: stop the supplement immediately. Seek medical attention.

If you’re ever unsure, book an appointment with your practitioner and they will help you to adjust your plan. Never push through something that doesn't feel right. Your body is telling you something, and we want to hear it. You can book an appointment here.

Should I just go to my GP instead of messaging you about this?

Stop your supplements and see your GP or call 000 if you have trouble breathing, swelling of the face, lips or throat, a spreading rash, chest pain, fainting or a racing heart, vomiting or diarrhoea that won't settle, severe stomach pain, or anything that feels frightening or is getting worse fast. We're not an emergency service and we can't diagnose over email.

I'm on medication, is it okay to take these supplements as well?

Tell your practitioner every medication and supplement you're on before you start, and tell your GP or pharmacist what we've recommended. Some minerals interact with thyroid medication, antibiotics and blood thinners, so timing and dose matter. If you start a new medication after your plan is set, book a 15 minute check-in so your practitioner can adjust it if needed.

Oops, I forgot to take my supplements for a few days, do I need to restart?

Just pick up where you left off at your usual dose. Don't double up.

How long am I meant to be taking supplements for?

Generally it takes 3 months to see sustained changes in the cellular mineral pattern, particularly when paired with targeted lifestyle support. If you have had your first hair test, we recommend re-testing after 3 months of changes.

Your supplements match what your first test showed, so the re-test at around four months is how we see what's changed and what your body needs next. Some come off, some change dose, some continue. The aim is to not need supplements. Supplements serve the purpose of replenishing your cells, helping to build momentum to create lasting change. If you need supplements ongoing at a high dose, we haven’t addressed the root cause of cellular imbalance. Don't stop early because you feel better. Feeling better means it's working, not that you're done. If you run out before your re-test, re-order the same thing at the same dose. Unsure? Book a 15 minute check-in here.

I've got a new symptom that wasn't there before, who do I tell?

A new symptom is worth paying attention to, not pushing through. Book a 15 minute check-in with your practitioner here and they'll work through it with you and adjust your plan if needed. If your symptoms are highly concerning, rapidly changing, affecting your airways or ability to function in daily life, see your GP or call 000 first.

I've got a question for my practitioner, how do I actually get in touch with them?

Book a 15 minute check-in. It's the quickest way to get your practitioner's full attention on your questions, and it's how your plan gets adjusted between your bigger appointments. You can book it from the book appointment page here.

For anything about orders, payments or bookings, email [email protected] and the team will sort it. If you want more time to speak with your practitioner, book in an extended appointment here.

Can I book in again before my next test, or do I have to wait?

Yes. Book a 15 minute check-in or a 30 minute extended appointment from the book appointment page here. You don't need to wait for your re-test. We’re here to support you so you’re no longer lost in the space between.

Do I do the hair test before or after my first appointment?

After. Book your first appointment and fill in your intake form. Your practitioner sends your hair collection instructions once you've had your first appointment and have a clear pathway of all necessary future testing after understanding your health history.

I've posted my sample. How do I know it arrived?

You'll get an email from us when your sample reaches the lab, with the link to book your results review. If it's been two weeks since you posted it and you haven't heard from us, reply to any of our emails and we'll check. It’s best to send your sample via registered post to limit the possibility of your postal service misplacing your sample.

How long until my results are ready?

About three weeks from the day you post your sample. Book your results review three weeks out so your results are ready and waiting.

I'm overseas. Can I still do the test?

Yes, we work with people all around the world. Post your sample by registered post (we recommend this to minimise the risk of it getting lost).
